Watch the video review I made about the Smart Samsung Galaxy Y mobile phone.
As I mentioned in the video, the Samsung Galaxy Y is Smart’s latest netphone. Smart installed their special Smartnet interface which lets users chat with fellow Smartnet users, update their Facebook and Twitter status, read live feeds from the two social networks, and use Yahoo Messenger (which I forgot to mention in the video) – all unlimited as long as there is at least P1.00 in their account.
The video is blurry. I am really sorry for that. It’s a new video camera and I’m still not familiar with it.
There’s a part in the video when I mentioned that I will tell you more here about the subscription packages found in one of the menus of the smartphone. They are for prepaid subscribers.
|Packages and Bundles
(Subscriber must maintain P1 balance)
|Rate||Social Stream||Netphone Messenger||Browsing/ Access||Voice||Text|
|Daily Netphone Power Pack(all in)||P40||unli||unli||30 MB||10 min on net||150 on net|
|Monthly Netphone Power Pack (all in)||P999||unli||unli||1 GB||200 min on net||3500 on net|
|Daily Netphone Connect Pack||P30||unli||unli||20 MB||5 min on net||100 on net|
|Daily Netphone Value Pack||P20||unli||unli||10 MB||n/a||50 on net|
So if you are on a budget, get the daily packs and just choose which one is right for you. But if you can afford the Monthly Netphone Power Pack, the plan is practically unlimited.
As I said in the video, the Samsung Galaxy Y itself is nice and very affordable. The phone is very light and easy to grip. For as low as P4,990 you can buy the phone. It’s great value for your money especially these days when we always need to be connected and easy to reach.
