There are instances where big name companies fail to announce the winners of the contest they held. I participated in an ‘art contest’ held by MTV Phils. and Shell last Dec, 2008. The contestants were required to use the Ferrari keychains for the art entry. The keychains were not that cheap, they had to be acquired through buying their gasoline.
