ExchangesConnect is holding its 2nd Annual ExchangesConnect Video Contest. The theme for this year’s contest is “Change Your Climate, Change Your World.” climate is not only the air you breathe but also the people, places, and relationships that affect your daily life.
Make a video about what you or someone you know is doing to make your community a better place and in the process contributing to a healthier, safer, cleaner, and more peaceful world for all of us and you could win an all-expense-paid international exchange program!
How To Enter

- Join ExchangesConnect.
- Upload your video entry. Only 1 video per contestant is allowed.
Eligibility
- Contestants must be 14 years or older at the time of the submission.
- The Contest is open to individuals of all countries and territories worldwide.
- The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
The judging of the contest has 2 rounds. For Round 1, the 40 top-rated entries as determined by the ExchangesConnect community will be reviewed and ranked by a panel of expert judges. The criteria for judging are: Originality, Creativity, Effectiveness and Production Quality. For Round 2, the Contest Sponsor will select one (1) winner in each category, for a total of four (4) winners taking into consideration the judge’s rankings. Up to five honorable mentions will be selected. The decision will be based on the following criteria:
- Rating by the ExchangesConnect Community
- Expert Judge Rankings
- Originality
- Creativity
- Effectiveness
- Production Quality
The four (4) winners will receive the grand prize: an all-expense-paid, approximately two-week cultural exchange program to the United States (for the non-U.S. winners) or from the United States to a country to be determined (for the U.S. winners). The winners will be notified on March 2, 2010 and participate in the International Exchange Program as early as Summer/Fall 2010.
