Contest: Climate Change Video Contest

Asian Development Bank recently launched My View: The Asia-Pacific Climate Change Video Contest. Share your view on climate change with a 1 to 5 minute video. The video may be an animation, documentary, testimonial, experimental, or any genre. Entries may be in any language but using English subtitles is encouraged.

Who Can Join

Anyone who is a citizen of any of ADB’s 67 member countries may join except employees and families of ADB. There are three contest categories.

  • Youth (under 21) – from ADB Developing Member Countries *
  • Open (21 and above) – from ADB Developing Member Countries *
  • Open (open to all) – from ADB Member Countries **
* – Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Cook Islands, Fiji Islands, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Viet Nam

1st Prize (all categories) – $1,500

How to enter

  1. Upload your entry to Youtube or Youku.
  2. Tag your video with “ADB Climate Change.”
  3. Youtube contestants should join the ABD Climate Change group and submit your video to the group.
  4. Fill up the online registration form.
